The Tears of Osiris began with an idea more than a decade ago and grew into an epic trilogy spanning ancient Egypt, the modern world and realms beyond ordinary time. Blending historical events and locations with time travel, metaphysics and adventure, Jo creates stories that ask what might exist beyond the history we know.
Jo's fascination with the metaphysical stretches back even further. For more than thirty years, Jo has explored consciousness, spirituality and the nature of human experience, travelling and teaching around the world. Many of the questions woven through her novels are the same ones that have fascinated her throughout her life: who are we, where do we come from, and could reality be far greater than the world we see?
At the heart of the trilogy is something much simpler: people. Their loves, losses, loyalties and the choices they make when everything they believe about themselves and their world is challenged.
